Current Seeding / Playoff Projections
The bye weeks are finally over, everyone has been bit (or devoured) by the injury bug. It
must be stretch time. Going into the crucial double-header week, some teams are desperate
for a sweep to get them back into playoff position. Remember that the division winners will
always be ranked 1,2,3 regardless of their records.
Division Leaders
1. GerfluchtWeasels (7-2-1) A ridiculously low points against mask some problems, but as
long as Alexander is running wild, they’ll always be competitive.
2. Ebonic Plague (6-3-1) A lock to win the weak Mr. Me division despite the recent losing
streak. Like the Gers, a low points against masks some holes.
3. Catholic Nun and the Posse (6-4-0) Some fairly fortunate wins have aided their record. They
still hold their own destiny if they sweep their division opponents.
Wild Cards
4. Injury Prone (7-3-0) Only half a game behind the Flucts, the defending Souper Bowl champs
have a pretty solid looking line-up as they head towards the stretch.
5. Sewage Serpents (5-4-1) With even the slightest bit of luck, they could easily have
another two wins. Beginning to run away with the points chase and on a winning streak,
they are the team that would appear to me the most dangerous.
6. New Kid on the Block (5-5-0) A very deep bench has lead to a poor points played percentage,
but they have a line-up that is capable of putting a wining streak together.
7. Wounded Knee (4-5-1) Injuries and a few other weaknesses will make it difficult for the
team to go all the way in their alleged "swan song" season.
Bubble Teams
8-10. Gein’s Spleens, Lay Z Boy and Bar Stoole Buddies (4-6-0) All teams with problems. At
least one should make the play-offs, but their time in them could be short.
Faint Hope Teams
11-12 Left For Dead, Roughed-up Suspects (3-7-0) Odds are against these two teams getting
to the Championship round, but they could be contenders in the Toilet Bowl.
