Joe Kjeer - Cross Country

As well as winning the District 23 Hare Scrambles championship in 1983, Joe competed in the National Hare Scramble at Millville. While series regular, John Martin, was making a last-lap pass for the win, Joe finished 3rd in the 200cc class and 8th overall, making him the top “one-timer” Minnesotan at the event, finishing just in front of another Minnesota rider, Jumpin’ Jack Lane.
