industry. The current version is written in Visual Fox Pro and uses VFP data.

Sufficient Systems Minneapolis, MN |
Business Analyst / Development Manager |
2001 to 2003 |

• Sufficient Systems – Closed since 2004, they were an IT Project, sub-contracting company.
At their peak, over 40 people were working full-time on one of 2 projects;
creation of public web sites for the Secretary of State’s offices in Minnesota and Oklahoma.
• Worked on the Oklahoma project. Created documentation to verify requirements and obtain
design approval from the client. Involved traveling to Oklahoma 2-3 weeks per month to have
meetings with their legal and procedural experts.
• Supported the off-shore development team by writing Use Cases, creating other supporting
documentation needed for development, creating Test Plans and Build Schedules, and setting work
priorities.
• Coded product about 20% of the time. Application used Classic ASP and VB Script, and ran
against an Oracle database. Interaction with Oracle was primarily done by coding SQL commands
strings and sending then into the database.

RJ Steichen & Company Minneapolis, MN |
Programmer/Analyst |
2000 to 2001 |
|
• R.J Steichen & Company – R.J. Steichen was a privately owned stock brokerage, founded in the 1920s. The company was still profitable until early 2001, when they were part of a merger with Kinnard and the instigator of the merger, Miller Kuehn, with the combined entity being called Stockwalk. The new company went out of business early in 2002.
• Completed development on R.J Steichen’s partially-completed, in-house, web and desktop
applications. At its peak, it was used by 50 brokers and about 10 support staff.
